Between 2000 and 2002 Perut and Osnovikoff produced and directed “A Man Aside”, a deep and raw metaphor on human condition that depicts the decline of Ricardo Liaño and his obsession to become a millionaire in his eighties. During 2003 and 2004, Perut and Osnovikoff directed and produced "Clever Monkey Pinochet Versus La Moneda’s Pigs", a provocative documentary experimentation on the 1973 Chilean military coup featuring Chilean child and youth reenacting historical facts. Released theatrically in Chile in September 2004, the film was nominated for Best Chilean Documentary 2004 by the Altazor National Art Awards.

In 2004, Perut and Osnovikoff began the making of “Welcome to New York”, an exercise of inverted ethnography in which the Chilean directors show their irreverent and sarcastic vision of the "Capital of the World”. Released in New York in March 2006, the film was officially selected at Karlovy Vary IFF (2006), among other international festivals.

Perut and Osnovikoff are by now producing a new film: “News”.
